Medi-Caps Institute sets its pride by organizing a 2 days workshop as a pre-competition preparation for the Robotics competition “NEXUS” of IIT Mumbai. Whereby several teams from the central India have registered and reported. Competition will be be organized on 4^th October ’09 and the winning teams will proceed towards the final National level competition to be held in January 2010.

 Every year, IIT Mumbai selects 5 Institutes for these workshops and for the Central India, Medicaps has its candidature amongst 3 other NITs and IIT Mumbai. Computer Science department took the initiative with its active volunteers and faculty members to organize this event. The vision that the college aims has come to action says Chief Executive Director Dr. Shamsher Singh. Mr. Dheeraj Rane, welcomed the guests from IIT Mumbai and said that this event will bring a new direction in the Institute and lighten ways for the students to put forward their talents. This event will be for two days(22^nd-23^rd August 2009) with about 170 students being registered from various parts of Central India.
