Mr. Rahul Gupta
Head, Training & Corporate Relations

A very critical department for an institution is its Training and Placement Cell, for here in lies the future of its students and in a larger the status of the college. For any admission seeker fresh out of school, the institute that gives them an assurance of the future along with sound and regular teaching obviously becomes their choice of preference.

For achievement of the goals, a teamwork is essential and the product in the offering has to be properly equipped to give the desired results. During the last year it was pointed out by the organizations that visited Indore for campus  recruitment, that the students have good understanding of the subject but they lacked the power to express themselves. Taking the lead from here, the management quickly acted on this and started the Personality Development Cell, achieve better results in the near future, and this is bound to reflect on the placement results in the coming years as students will find themselves more comfortable and confident in facing the interviews.

In this session(2009), it is the sixth batch of BE that will be passing out. The target was to get organizations at the institute for selection drive. To have campus activities in the campus is easier said than done, but targets are meant to be achieved and with the support of the management and the entire faculty of the institutes, eight campus selection drives involving around 38 institutes from entire Madhya Pradesh Zone was organized at Medi-Caps in which they are participated. It was an achievement as the response for the visiting organizations has been very encouraging and has thrown floodgates of opportunities.

IT Giants like Satyam Computers from Hyderabad, Hexaware Technologies from Mumbai , KPIT Cummins from Pune, Cummins Research and Technology India Limited from Pune Apticraft from Indore were some of the organization that visited our institute for their campus selection.

The students too have reciprocated to our efforts, and the selections percentage has been satisfactory. Eighty percent of the students of 2009 batch have offer letters with them and by the time we finish with 2010 batch, same percent of the placements is what we are looking at end even in recession, as the saying goes “morning shows the day” we are pretty confident that this should be achieved.

When the going gets tough, then tough get going, we have just begun our journey and as we move to the future we are optimistic that along with thorns we will have roses on our way too.
